State-of-the-Art Information Technology Park at Dehradun

Department of Information Technology & Industrial Development and State Infrastructure & Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand Ltd. (SIDCUL), as the nodal agency to promote the development of industrialization in the State of Uttarakhand, has prioritized the establishment of “International Quality” IT infrastructure in the state. It plans to develop a state-of-the-art Information Technology Park in more than 60 acres at Sahastradhara road, Dehradun, the State Capital with Intelligent Buildings and a Hi-tech Habitat Centre

The vision of the State Government of Uttaranchal is to promote the development of Information Technology industry in the State. In this endeavor, the State Government has undertaken major initiatives in IT Education, formulation of a Pro-active IT Policy and development of International Quality infrastructure.

IT Infrastructure Initiatives
  • State Infrastructure & Industrial Development Corporation of Uttarakhand (SIDCUL) is setting up a state-of-the-art Software Technology Park on more than 60 acres at Dehradun, the State Capital with Intelligent Buildings and Hi-tech Habitat Centre
  • SPTI Earth Station at Dehradun with connectivity upto 100 MBPS Fibre Optic networks by Reliance Infocom, Department of Telecommunication etc.
  • MOUs signed with Cisco Systems, Intel Corporation, IBM etc. for setting up of Research Academies
